Our love for travel sports goes back years. We’ve been on both sides—first as a competitive softball players at the national level and now as parents guiding our children through the travel baseball and softball landscape. Over time, we’ve witnessed firsthand how drastically the industry has changed.
What used to be a highly competitive environment, where only the best made it to travel teams, has now become a vast and often confusing network of teams that accept anyone willing to pay. While this shift has created more opportunities, it has also resulted in diluted talent pools, inconsistent coaching, and significant challenges for families trying to choose the right program.
The Problem: Lack of Reliable Information
As parents, we struggled to find trustworthy information about teams, coaching quality, and overall program integrity.
